About Us
Don Midkiff has studied with some of the leading portrait and wedding photographers in the United States. His portraits and candid wedding photographs have won awards from the Georgia Professional Photographers Association and the Southeaster Professional Photographers Association. Don began his work as a family and children photographer. He soon learned that families have weddings and families want their photographer to photograph their weddings. As his work has progress, he has expanded his wedding photography and finds it some of his most satisfying work. He uses Photoshop to do all the creative design work for the wedding albums. Don says he enjoys weddings because people are at their best:they look their best and are on their best behavior. Although he has a well equipped, modern studio, Don's favorite setting for portraits is the beautiful north Georgia mountains. His wife, Feenie, works with him in the studio and at weddings. She is a former kindergarten teacher and works well with children during their sessions.
